What time will the driver deliver my order?Due to our driver's busy schedule, we are neither able to specify the exact time he will arrive, nor allocate long waiting times at your address. We will try our best to allocate a timeslot on the evening before delivery. We would greatly appreciate if you could arrange for someone to be there to receive the delivery. Alternatively, we are able to leave the order at your doorstep. However, this is not advisable as the goods are perishable and we will not be held liable for the condition of the goods when you receive it.

Where is our meat from? Our meat is premium grade from New Zealand, 100% grass fed lamb and angus beef.
-
What is our mince made from?We sell fresh New Zealand beef and lamb mince made from 100% grass-fed meat, with zero use of supplements. Crops are non-GM. The lamb, as with the Angus beef range, is farmed by a Maori farming co-operative consortium before being processed at their own abattoir and vacuum packed and sealed at source in New Zealand before being air freighted chilled to arrive in Hong Kong. All our meat products can be traced back to each individual herd and pasture. The beef mince is from the topside, so all muscle meat, and the lamb mince is from the leg. The emphasis is therefore on high quality without including any trimmings. It arrives fresh and has never been previously frozen so you may freeze it on arrival to defrost safely at a later date.

Is our salmon farmed? Our salmon is farmed, but is the only farmed species in the world to gain the green/”best choice” rating from Seafood Watch. To learn about the criteria for these awards, you can visit the Monterey Bay Aquarium website. The salmon eggs are nurtured in the clear waters flowing through Takaka off the coast of NZ. With an average of 14,000 litres of fresh water bubbling to the surface, these waters have been verified as some of the cleanest in the world. The smolt are transferred to the sheltered (isolated from disease) deep water bays of the Marlborough Sands to mature in fast flowing waters, thus emulating the lifecycle of wild king salmon. Since king salmon are not native to NZ, there are no wild salmon in the area which means the NZ King ora salmon can be raised without any impact on wild stock. The fish feed is based on the nutritional requirements of wild salmon with 10% fishmeal sourced from sustainable, pelagic species, which is also World Wildlife Fund approved for use of marine resources in aquaculture feed. It’s certified GMO and BSE free with all ingredients fully traceable. Each formulation suits the particular life stage of the salmon as it requires less protein and more oil as it gets older. The seafarm pens run a ratio of 90% water space to 2% salmon with staff on duty 24/7. Harvesting techniques are humane to ensure it’s quick, effective and stress-free for the salmon. The salmon is then taken to a processing facility where it’s washed, graded and prepared for a 10 day shelf life. They are then air-freighted, chilled to our chilled warehouse in HK. In terms of appearance, the fillets are generous versus other species with bright orange flesh and marbled fat lines. Re nutrition it has the highest natural oil content of all the species (27g fat/100g), omega 3 fatty acids essential for brain and eye development in children, heart health and more, and also means overcooking is less likely, as it does not dry out easily.
